Our unique cleaning process

Our proven cleaning process ensures we minimise disruption and downtime for the end-user.

Step 1: Preparation

Before starting to clean, we do a check on the desk. Is the desk safe to begin cleaning? Are there any personal items in the way? Is it safe to access all items?

Step 2: Clear Debris

We dislodge any visible debris such as dust or crumbs. We do this before wiping to ensure there are no items that can scratch your equipment. We typically use a brush for this.

Step 3: Wipe & Disinfect

In this stage, we use our own cleaning agent, in combination with our microfibre cloths to wipe gently and remove any fingerprints, stains or dust.

Step 4: Dry & Polish

In this step, we use a dry microfibre cloth to wipe and polish off the equipment, leaving no streaks and fingerprints.

Step 5: Final Check

Arguably the most important step, we do a final check on the desk before moving onto the next desk. Are the monitors straight and back in its original position and angle? Is the mouse and keyboard placed back in it's original position? Did we leave any items there?

How long does the service take?

The service can take anywhere from 4 hours to a full day, depending on the quantity of equipment and size of the area to be cleaned. Reach out to us via WhatsApp and we can provide you a quotation.

When can you schedule the cleaning service?

The service can be scheduled during business hours, or after business hours depending on your requirements. We would typically recommend either on a weekday evening (after 6pm) or a weekend (from 9am).

What equipment do you use?

We only use equipment, tools and products that are approved and safe on IT equipment. We typically use:

  • ESD safe brushes
  • ESD safe vacuum cleaner (if required)
  • ESD safe air compressor (if required) 
  • Non-abrasive soft microfibre cloths
  • ESD & IT equipment safe cleaning solution, both an alcohol-based and water-based solution (depending on the equipment)

How come my general cleaner shouldn’t clean IT equipment?

Your general office cleaner is not trained to clean IT equipment. They have no knowledge on IT equipment and you will risk them damaging or accidentally loosening or unplugging the equipment. We have an article about this topic for more information.

We highly recommend that IT & AV equipment is cleaned on a regular schedule in order to maintain consistent hygiene and cleanliness.

We would recommend the lowest frequency schedule for cleaning IT & AV equipment in an office is monthly.

It's also much more cost effective to have a regular cleaning schedule.
