The standards we follow

We follow ISO 14644-1, the global standard for cleanroom air cleanliness, ensuring your data centre meets industry-approved contamination levels.

This standard classifies airborne particle concentration, which is critical for preventing dust buildup that can lead to overheating, hardware failures, and reduced cooling efficiency.

Using calibrated particle counters, we measure airborne particulates before and after cleaning to verify compliance with ISO Class 8 or higher, the recommended standard for most data centres.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the service take?

Depending on the size of the room, and the scope requested, it can take anywhere from half a day to a whole weekend. For larger data centres with multiple rooms, we recommend breaking up the clean over several days.

When can you schedule the cleaning service?

We can schedule the cleaning based on your change and security access window. This would typically mean a weekend.

What special tools do you use?

We only use equipment, tools and products that are approved and safe in data centres and IT equipment. We typically use:

  • ESD safe brushes
  • ESD safe HEPA filtered vacuum cleaner
  • ESD safe air compressor
  • Non-abrasive soft microfibre cloths
  • ESD & IT equipment safe cleaning solution (non-drip)
  • Calibrated Particle Counter
Should I ask my general cleaner to clean my data centre?

Definitely not! General cleaners don't have the knowledge, certification or tools to clean a data centre safely and properly.

How much does the service cost?

Our pricing is designed to be very affordable and competitive. We usually charge per square foot, based on the scope required and the frequency. We highly recommend a regular cleaning schedule.

What frequency is recommended?

We can tailor the frequency based on your requirements and budget. However, for most data centres, we highly recommend including a deep clean at least twice per year, and a regular clean once per month.

What kind of reports do you provide?

We always provide a detailed service report which typically includes the service summary, full test results, a testing certificate, photos and any identified issues & recommendations.

Does equipment need to be shutdown for a clean?

No, your equipment can stay on and we will only clean areas authorised by you. We recommend keeping the room as clean as possible, which will in turn reduce the amount of dust on the equipment itself.

How do you clean equipment without causing an outage or being shutdown?

The objective is to clean the entire room (ceiling, floor, under floor, surfaces) to minimise dust build-up on the equipment itself. We minimise touching equipment where possible. However, if there is dust on the equipment we will use specialised tools to remove the dust with the utmost care.

We've had an accident. Do you help with emergency cleans?

Absolutely!

Please reach out to us via WhatsApp any time to discuss the issue and we can arrange a team to help.
